These are songs I have come across from
various sources. Some are from standard
American folk repertoire. Some from old
Country 78 rpm records. A few are more
comtemporary. And there are a couple
songs of my own writing. One thing to
note is the song Someday Street. A very
special man named Sammy K. (RIP) wrote
the words. Sammy was the first person to
bring a twelve-step program to a state
penitentiary. It was at Attica where my
brother John and I met him and were brought
to play for the inmates several years ago.
These songs have a certain simplicity and
charm that drew me in. I hope they do the
same for you. I give thanks to my brother
John for encouraging me to release this
project. Thank you for listening and may
God bless you.
Thanks to my family: Bill Hogan, Sue and
Jim Meagher, Tom and Lynne Marie Kinsella,
Jim and Mary Dady, John and Carol Dady,
Erin, Brendan, Connor, Clare, Mara, Katie
and Matt and Sean, Patrick and Sarah,
Jimmy, TJ, Pete, Caitlin. Mick Sarubbi,
Jim McAvaney, Phil Enders, Mark Hare,
Jim Lowenguth, the people in the trenches
at Strong Cardio-Vascular unit who saved
my life, the fine folks at St. Mary's Brain
Trauma Unit who helped me get back to
a semblance of reality.
Thanks to you for all your prayers, cards
and well wishes. Your love most certainly
brought me back from the other side. With
Love and gratitude...
