The Emigrants are four fine Irish musicians performing the very best of traditional and contemporary Celtic music.
Steve Buckner, Martin Whelan, Brian Clancy,
and Bill Fleming are the Emigrants and they sing in full four part harmony (in English and Gaelic),
and play a myriad of instruments: guitar, mandolin, fiddle, wooden flute, tin whistle, banjo, pipes,
harmonica, spoons, bodhran, piano, and keyboards. From romantic ballads to uplifting jigs and reels,
the Emigrants are unsurpassed!
Popular at many Upstate New York festivals and clubs, the Emigrants also perform for private functions and
have traveled throughout the Northeastern US for festival and concert appearances.
October Winds is the Emigrants' second release on the Dynamic Recording label, following 1996's Roisin Dubh (Black Rosaleen).
Recorded live in the studio, both releases display the energy and versatility of this talented foursome.
